Don and Reinhart, thanks a lot for the valuable feedback.
I have fixed the problems you have spotted, hopefully.
Clean browser cache and update the page to update the script and the widget.

Don, can we have a compromise? :)
I have noticed many widget users do not respect the copyright.
They remove the HTML copyright code and get away with YoWindow picture that certainly looks nice that way.
But I think we have to respect yr.no for their generousity and we need more PR for YoWindow.
That is why we have decided to hide the HTML code inside JavaScript on our server.

Think about the copyright line as a part of YoWindow application.
So it is made in the same style as the widget.
I have added today a two parameters to give you a control over the color of the copyright string.
See the source code - "attributes" variable.

Don, please let me know the case when it is required to alter the position of the copyright string.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

I had feeling your answer would be something along these lines. ;) I agree we should respect yr.no, and also the NWS. Maybe it should say "Forecast by yr.no or NWS"

This doesn't seem to be working. :(

This page shows were I lowered the copyright a few pixels so it wouldn't overlap the bottom edge of the background image. ([Edit] I have made some changes so this link is no longer relevant to this post.) --> http://home.surewest.net/donjr/yowindow ... rteen.html That was what I wanted to do with the chooser version.

Anyway, I went with plan B and I'm happy with it. http://home.surewest.net/donjr/yowindow ... r_six.html

For me the 2 new parameters for coloring the copyright are working:

IE8:
YoWindow - Location-chooser - color for copyright - IE8.jpg
YoWindow - Location-chooser - color for copyright - IE8.jpg (138.71 KiB) Viewed 7854 times
Firefox:
YoWindow - Location-chooser - color for copyright - Firefox.jpg
YoWindow - Location-chooser - color for copyright - Firefox.jpg (143.97 KiB) Viewed 7854 times

I just have fixed the coloring of the copyright.
I have forgotten to upload the script to the server.

Don, thanks for the clarification about copyright string layout.
I like the way you arranged the widget and the copyright.
I'm sorry that we are restricting the freedom :(

The copyright link is now automatically reflects forecast weather provider - yr.no or NWS.
The link is updated after the forecast has been loaded.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

Open the page Pavel has linked in his initial post and on that page click on "Expand source".
You will see the html-code for a complete page you can work with.
