I think you could be of usefull help!

He stated earlier he had put off the firewall completely without any help.

when I first start it it shows NEW YORK ( NO other choices )as the city and it says " UPDATING WEATHER" but noting happens
If I click on location/add, it says " TO GET STARTED ETC" and the dropdown box says " LOADING " but nothing happen
I can leave it for 10 or 15 minutes - nothing happens
I can shut the firewall off completely and it is the same thing

He uses Win XP and Comodo.
I don't know Comodo, but I think it's both a Firewall and Anti-virus program.
Are you familiar with it?

- Since when are you experiencing problems? --------------------3 or 4 weeks maybe 5
- How long has it been working ok, do you remember the version number? ----------- nothing is working correctly - this one was downloaded and installed on The Aug 7 - is not working ok

Just to be sure: Did you close Comodo entirely?
Or is it still running in the background, without you noticing?

I would suggest opening the comodo firewall interface...

Look for the programs section...

See if YoWindow is listed...

If so check out its properties...access to the internet should be unlimited...always...

If you can't access its properties just delete it from the programs section...

Then close the firewall interface...without closing the firewall...

Then start up YoWindow...if your firewall is properly configured there should be a pop-up asking you what to do with the

the YoWindow program...Make sure you allow it on the internet AND check the box to confirm this every time YoWindow tries to access the internet...
