The screen sits at the update stage and I cannot enter new cities or anything
I paid for this and it should work better

Would you please tell us: what version of YoWindow do you use, do you run a Windows-PC or a Mac, for which location the program does not update the weather and every other detail you think that might help us to solve your problem.

Please keep in mind that YoWindow is a program that rely heavily on external sources (METAR-stations world-wide, norwegian meteorological institute, the geonames.org-services) and can't be held responsible for every strange behavior.

Sometimes the configuration of the PC is responsible - and before i forget: which version of "flash" do you use currently?

yo window is build 491
flash -- I have no idea
the program worked well for months - then 2 or 3 weeks ago it went into this state
is on PC -- windows XP pro- amd 64X2 -- 4 of ram - dsl -

one more - the program starts with new york and I cannot get any further -- I cannot pick any cities

i am not a puter whiz , so if it is something in the puter itself , then I am hooped
likely some idiot thing Mr Gates put in in the updates

So at first i recommend a completely uninstall and re-install of YoWindow.
Please tell us if that helps.

when I first start it it shows NEW YORK ( NO other choices )as the city and it says " UPDATING WEATHER" but noting happens
If I click on location/add, it says " TO GET STARTED ETC" and the dropdown box says " LOADING " but nothing happen
I can leave it for 10 or 15 minutes - nothing happens
I can shut the firewall off completely and it is the same thing

will uninstall and reboot then re-download and install - will let you know

did a control panel add/remove - did a registry clean -- rebooted puter
redownloaded yowindow and installed
It is the same ole - same ole --EXACTLY the same
