OK, I set up the image and the associated XML(YWL)
file, and it looks and works perfectly.
Now, I would like to continue with a small addition
to the image and/or script. If anyone can talk
me through what I have to do to illuminate the
torch in the statue during the night hours, I
would really appreciate it. Great job Ikarus,
and terrific tutorial par.

Such "goodies" don't work right now. It would be a great enhancement for the future.ace2701 wrote:Now, I would like to continue with a small addition

Who knows if Pavel and his graphics-guru Yuri aren't working on it already?
Just ask them - it would be another step on completely custom-controlled landscapes.

Yes, we are watching you
You want to make the torch burning in the night.
Technically that means you want to display an animation depending on the day light.
This task requires us turning the picture into a computer program.
Actually making such things possible is the next major step in landscapes evolution.
Give us time and we will make it happen, hopefully.

That's because the picture has its aspect ratio which YoWindow keeps when resizing the window to not distorting it!kaos wrote:why is it the image never fills the screen its always a 3/4 one.
