RC 320 Screen Saver Free versus Unlimited

I was finally able to buy the Unlimited (you know how bills are). I loaded down RC 320 onto both of my computers this morning. I then bought the Unlimited and have it set up on just one of my computers. So now I am able to watch the Free and the Unlimited at the same time.

I have both set so that last cursor or keyboard activity was at same second. Both computers time out to screen saver at same time. They both go to black screen with message of Wait Please. The computer set up as Free goes to screen saver. The computer set up as Unlimited goes back to desktop and redisplays desktop YoWindow.

Both computers are Windows XP with 32 bit processor. Later on, after I get in a bike ride, I am planning to reload RC 319 and see if the same happens. But for now, it looks like screen saver problem is not Windows 7 oriented. Instead, it is Free versus Unlimited.

Unfortunately I still cannot repeat the same effect on my XP machine.

If you register YoWindow on the second machine (our license permits this) will the screensaver fail on it?

I will try playing around with both of my Windows XP later tonight. If I use the second part of my license on my smaller XP and get a large PC later on, how can I transfer Unlimited from that PC to the larger one that I plan to get?

Here are screen shots of CCleaner from both computers. CCleaner has the computer specifics listed at the top. My 8 hour battery is the Unlimited. My 2 hour battery is the Free.

Until I do more research, I hope this information helps you out.

I used up the second half of my Unlimited license. Before I did, I tried tracking down any differences between my two computers as far as YoWindow. I found what is wrong but do not know how to fix it.

My 8 hour battery XP that will not display YoWindow screen saver any more has two YoWindow screen savers. My 2 hour battery XP that was displaying YoWindow screen saver while Free had one YoWindow screen saver. It is almost like the 8 hour does not know which one to use so does not use either.

After registering the 2 hour battery XP, it still has only one screen saver and it is still displaying YoWindow screen saver. Hind sight being better than fore sight, I wish I had checked out the 8 hour before registering it. But it was displaying screen saver until I registered it.

Here is where screen savers are - On the 8 hour there is a screen saver in C:\WINDOWS\system32 333KB dated 6/16/2010 4:40 AM
and in C:\WINDOWS 333KB dated 3/26/2010 8:07 AM

On the 2 hour there is a screen saver in C:\WINDOWS\system32 333KB dated 6/16/2010 4:40 AM


On 3/26, I sent you an email about build 273 and how I had to reload 272 due to screen saver error on anything but 64 bit. You returned an email to me on 3/27 to try build 274. Hopefully you still have those emails since that is why I have two screen savers on the 8 hour. The 2 hour had to be restored from recovery disc since then so it would only have the one screen saver.

But why has the 8 hour been working all along until I registered it with the license key? And how do we fix it?
