Smoother transitions please

Hi,

Gotta say - I love YoWindow.

My only wish is that the change between weather types was made smoother.

For example, real weather doesn't 'snap' over from raining to sunshine - it transitions from raining -> not raining but still cloudy -> less clouds -> sunshine over a period of an hour.

I would love it if the graphics in YoWindow did the same, rather than jumping from one type to another.

Will take a lot of my time now, hopefully some day in the future we will make weather to change smooth.

I think it is a challenge worth taking though. You already have animations and graphics for differing weather conditions. When it is very cloudy, you have more clouds on screen than when it is not so cloudy. When the weather report says it is going to be less cloudy in one hour from now, why not just start reducing the amount of clouds over the next 60 minutes?

The same would be true for reducing or increasing rain, wind, etc.

I really think it would make everything look so much more realistic - well, apart from a few new landscapes, of course.

Well technically there are several problems that prevent to make me this change instantly.
One of them is YoWindow performance and another one is that YoWindow program code is not ready for these changes.
But this must be done, and I hope sooner or later we will have this feature on our belt.

That sounds great. I think it is a feature that would really make YoWindow truly awesome.
