YoWindow in Windows 8 RP?

Has anyone gotten YoWindow to work in Windows 8 Release Preview? It worked fine in Consumer Preview, but locks up while loading the data in RP. The program itself doesn't lock up, but the data doesn't finish loading, without minimizing and then restoring, and then none of the menu controls work. Even after finally getting it to read and display the current weather, the tray icon never updates.

I suspect it has to do with the new IE 10 with built-in Flash. I tried installing Flash manually, but it gives an Active X error during installation.

I have spent half a day with investigations.
The problem is clearly seen in W8 RP.
Everything works perfectly except...
The screen is not updated
If you to resize YoWindow - the screen is updated.

Looks like an error either on Adobe or Microsoft side.
I have filed complaints to both companies and even have called to Adobe
Let's see the response from the big brothers.

Hopefully a solution will be forthcoming soon. It's not really usable as-is, and I miss it.

I do care as much as you are, probably even more, because my life for the past several years is all around YoWindow.

Are you considering writing a Win8 Metro version of YoWindow? It would be way better than the other weather apps that are currently available and could establish YoWindow as THE weather app for Win8.

Yes, we do want to make YoWindow for Metro.
This is a big task.
I'm going to talk to Microsoft about this next week.

By the way, Intel asked us to create a special edition of YoWindow for their new Ultrabooks.
If everything goes well YoWindow screen saver will be preinstalled on new Ultrabooks this autumn.
