1) In options selecting what to display in inspector panel,
Humidity and visibility lacks comments that these data are not provided by yr.no
2) I suggest that if data is not available, then is that line not shown
even if that option is selected

Re: Inspector Panel - Data: N/A
Nice point, I have originally also wanted to hide these parameters if they are not provided.
But some people say this would confuse the user.
Imagine if a person have decided to display visibility, but then, after clicking OK in the Options dialog, she does not see it.
Because she have navigated to the forecast time.
There is an option "Show N/A parameters".
If it is unchecked, you won't see a parameter if it is not available.
Guys, what do you think, should we hide visibility and humidity when the user navigates into the future?

Not only these but all parameters that are at times not available. With this a user has a chance to delete temporarily wrong or missing values from XML.par wrote:Guys, what do you think, should we hide visibility and humidity when the user navigates into the future?
Who wants to see missing parameters anyway has to check this option. There is an option "Show N/A parameters".

Re: Inspector Panel - Data: N/A
I have missed the option "Show N/A parameters"!
Unchecking that, does the trick for me!

I have asked, do you think that it makes sense to hide visibility and pressure when they are not available in the forecast data.

You should not limit this to these two parameters. If a parameter is not available, regardless of being in METAR, forecast or user's XML, it should be hidden if this (upcomingHolli wrote:Not only these but all parameters that are at times not available. Re: Inspector Panel - Data: N/A
Hi Pasha!
Excuse me of my silly question but I wasn´t sure if you mean a very near future or later
when the forecast values are used.
I.e. data from a Metar can by YoWindow be displayed as expected weather three hours in future from now, due to
no forecast is present. But the data from the METAR is the current weather and not the weather expected later.
But no critics of that, I was not sure what you mean!
But as long as you have the option "Show N/A parameters", all parameters should be handled the same.
A parameter that lacks data are shown as N/A if "Show N/A parameters are checked" otherwise not shown at all.
