test translate Lang file
test translate Lang file
How can test translate Lang file in Yowindow ?
Re: test translate Lang file
Hi Roxana,
The file needs to be an .xml file.
All languages are in the folder C:\ProgramData\YoWindow\lang.
(This is for Windows 7)
Make sure that your original file is kept save.
You can do so by copying/backup it to a save place or rename it.
Then copy your file to this directory.
Goodluck,
Fred

Re: test translate Lang file
Dear Roxana, I'm sorry I did not prepare YoWindow for Farsi testing.
But today I did!
You need to download and install the latest b69 RC.
http://yowindow.com/rc.html
- Select Farsi in Options/General/Language
- Restart YoWindow by going to main-menu/Program/Exit
After you have checked the translation, you can continue to translate YoWindow on Pootle
http://yowindow.com/pootle/fa/yodesktop/
When you are done, follow the steps from YoWindow translation tutorial to test new strings

Re: test translate Lang file
What do you mean by "mirrored"?
Is it required to write the text backwards?
Is it required to write the text backwards?
Re: test translate Lang file
Mean is some farsi translating phrases are seen reverse ,for instance for "Reverse" is seen so: "esreveR"par wrote:What do you mean by "mirrored"?

For example about "Live" index = زنده is seen "eviL"="ه د ن ز"

So Farsi is a right-to-left language but you say that in YoWindow just the strings are reversed, yes?

Re: test translate Lang file
Now I understand.
Live -> Evil is a nice example
I hope it is going to be easy to fix this problem.
You can keep translating and when you are done I hope I will solve the problem with letters written backwards.
