After YoWindow was running as a screensaver (I left it via mouse movement),
the desktop icons don't snap to grid anymore (on XP Home SP3).
Then, I always have to check that option again manually in the desktop's context menu.
Is there a way to fix this, please?
EDIT:
I just noticed, it doesn't happen always.
Don't know what's causing it, but to have this effect,
it seems like YoWindow has to run for a longer time,
until the next reload of the weather data or over night or so.
Not sure about this, yet, though.

Hey!
Are you sure this is YoWindow?
I think this is very unlikely.
There is no code inside YoWindow to ruin desktop icons auto-layout.
It can be some other software.
Here's my proposal.
Try to uninstall YoWindow and wait for a week.
If the problem will not come up for a week, install the latest version of YoWindow.
If you to notice the problem again, report the error here.

I'm not exactly sure and I don't understand what's going on, yet.
In fact, I'm still searching for the reason of this effect and I guess, I need to go on with my search for a while.
So far, it seems like some kind of conflict between YoWindow and UltraVNC, because it often happens after I accessed my desktop computer (UVNC-server) from my netbook (UVNC-client), both of them located in the same home network. So I remote control the desktop computer using the netbook, and this effect is shown on the desktop computer.
The problem is, I never had this with previous versions of YoWindow. That's why I think the current version of YoWindow is involved somehow, since I updated YoWindow recently, but not UltraVNC.

The new version of YoWindow has not changed in terms of communication with Windows environment.
I think this is some unlucky coincidence.
Something else has happened at the moment you have installed new YoWindow.

I can't think of anything that might have happened during that installation (I didn't notice anything unusual then),
I just installed the new version over the previous one.
Anyway, as I said before, I obviously need to go on searching...

You're probably right.I think this is some unlucky coincidence.
Today, I updated UltraVNC to the next version, which I found while searching for a solution.
After that update, it didn't happen again, so far.
Please, pardon me for having suspected your product.
