b26 - almost there

Post by par »

What's new

- Main-menu available in full-screen mode and even in Screen Saver
- Fixed: Runtime Error that prevents Windows from shutting down
http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=4765
At least I hope so.
- Mouse wheel time scrolling

- New: Landscape authors can now mark landscape sky "fixed".
That means that the sky will not be extending when YoWindow height changes.
This feature is imporant for landscapes that clipped at the top.
Like the latest landscape from Werner.

As far as I remember this feature was requesed a long time ago by Reinhart.
Also, Yura has made very beautiful picture landscape, but we did not show it to you because a part of it was clipped at the top.
Now the time for this feature has come.
I'm happy.

Hi Pasha,

I tried to see the main menu with full screen and screen saver. I tried on both my WinXP and Win7. Just like Werner, I was not able to see it.

But there is good news also. Scrolling thru time with the mouse wheel works perfect.

I have noticed the problem with missing main-menu in full-screen also.
And I think I have fixed it.
Please check out b27

Thanks, Marty
Main-menu should appear when you move the mouse to the top of the screen in full-screen mode.
Is this what you are doing?

What is the screen resolution of your monitor?

[UPDATE]
You have to touch the top of the screen with the mouse pointer and wait for a fraction of a second.

Hi Pasha,

Good news!! Main menu is working on both WinXP and Win7. Screen resolution is 1366 x 768 on both.

Yes! - it works fine, unobstrusive but still there so one can't miss it.
