[RESOLVED] Black screen

Hi Pavel,

on my Win XP SP3 YoWindow is not starting correctly. The program-window remains black, even after minutes of running.
When starting the debug-mode with the included bat-file the only messages i get are when i hover over the tray icon or when i click the right mouse-button when attempting to open the popup-menu.

It looks like the Flash Player version on your Win XP is older than 10.2.
I have added the necessary code to handle this case to build #1.
Please download it and describe your experience the first time you run it.
Do not upgrade Flash Player before the installation.
I wonder if YoWindow will handle this case gracefully.

thanks for this patch! Now i can start YoWindow V3.
But let's start at the beginning:

After downloading Build b1 and started it from the installer (checkbox "Launch...") YoWindow crashed, see screenshot:

I made the screenshot and started YoWindow V3 b1 the second time. I got the message "Flash outdated":

After clicking on the link in it, my IE8 was started with this link - although my default browser is Firefox
I updated the flash-player to the newest version and got the "Update succeeded"-message in Firefox (my default browser).

After that i was able to start YoWindow V3 the first time and was asked to choose my home-location (with the blurred auto-location in the background - i really like this!).

Super!

Everything worked as expected, including IE launch instead of the default browser.
This is essential for YoWindow to install Flash Player for IE, not for Firefox or any other browser.

However, I'm worried about the crash on start.
I wish I knew how to reproduce it.

Also I've noticed a missing image on the page, this is going to be fixed it soon.
