YoWindow 3 Widget and Firefox

Hi Pasha,

YoWindow 3 Widget is on the YoWindow.com page. I have tried IE8, Opera, Safari, and Firefox. The widget on that page is working on everything except Firefox.

In Firefox, the gray YoWindow introduction is the only thing that shows. It never loads the YoWindow 3 widget.

I tried Jim's weather page on Firefox and the YoWindow 3 Widget is working on his weather page. It will not load on YoWindow.com page.

I hope this is an easy fix.

Hi Marty & Pasha,
I checked the widget site also in IE 9.08112, Opera 11.52, Chrome 15.0.874.106 and Firefox 7.0.1 and in all browsers the widget site shows all parameters completely
I couldn't reproduce the fault Marty has seen

The actual widget site for creating a widget is working on all my browsers. The YoWindow.com front page that just displays a widget is what is not loading on my Firefox browser.

I can confirm Martys post.

I have Firefox and Flash-player in the newest version.

And: i have the the noscript-addon installed - the widget on yowindow.com does work only if i allow scripts from the "addthis.com" domain.

Is this domain really necessary for the widget to work?

I think I have fixed the small problem with widget when Add This scripts are blocked, reported by Reinhart.

I'm working on the web in Firefox 3.6
Cannot reproduce the problem.
Marty, it may happen that at the moment you were testing in Firefox our widget server went down.
In such a case the widget just not running.

Try cleaning up the browser cache and reload the page.
Pleae let me know the results.

Now the widget on yowindow.com works for me on Firefox (with and without addthis.com allowed)

I'm working on the web in Firefox 3.6

Maybe you should consider updating to the current version Firefox 7.0.1

I do not want to upgrade because I have a secret YoWindow toolbar for Firefox in development
I need to sort out the toolbar business, then I will upgrade to... Chrome
