Bottom of widget cut off

Post by Sacto2010 »

Hi everyone. I'm back again with yet another problem.

The little bushes at the bottom of the screen is cut off and only shows the top of the bushes. It was OK before, but for some reason it isnt now.

Can anyone tell me what went wrong and how I can fix it?

I want my bushes back!

Hi Ree,

Any change off putting up a printscreen or perhaps a link?
Because right now I really have no idea what you're talking about.

Thanks.

Well Ree,

Then please explain what you are talking about.

YoWindow Widget / YoWindow desktop version / Village Landscape / Seaside Landscape / etc. etc.
It must be me, but I really don't understand what you're talking about.

Thanks,
Fred

Hi again, Fred

No....it's not you. It's obviously me.

What I meant to say is that It's the Village Landscape (aka Widget?) that shows on my desktop when I click on the program.

On the botton are some bushes that wave in the wind (when it's windy) or are just there when there's no wind. It's just above the thin black line that says, "Forcast from National Service".

Anyway...there are a few bushes that used to show in it's entirety. But, now I only see the tops of them.

I really do appreciate your help! So if I still haven't explained it clearly, if you could tell me how to upload a pic I'll gladly do it.

Ree :)

Hi Ree,

when you use the search function with "upload attachment", you will find this: http://yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... ment#p7730
Is it really too hard to use this? I belief 90% of this basic questions are answered in the past.

Oke Ree,

We'll get there step by step.
The village landscape is used in both the Widget (Programtool for a website) and the desktop version (Program for your Windows machine, unless you are using a Mac of course, if so, please tell us).

Please follow the steps as Mallorca has suggested to give us an impression what you are experiencing.
Also tell us what you are using. I guess it's the Windows desktop version, right?
Then tell us what Windows version you are using and what YoWindows version.
It could also be helpful to tell us your location, so that we can check out if we're experiencing the same.
Give us all the details you can think of.

If you get stuck in uploading a screenshot, then please tell us.
We're glad to be of help, where we can.

Thanks and goodluck,
Fred

Hi, Fred

I received a PM that may have answered my question. Being that it's Spring here in California it may be that the bushes are just beginning to grow. I'll have to wait until it gets later in the season to see if that corrects the "problem".
But, again I want to thank you for your helpful replies to my "dilemma". :Rose:

Werner,

I think I got it. Thanks! BTW....I'm new to this forum so if I didn't know what was posted in the past it's because I wasn't here in the past.

Hi Ree,

Good to see it has been solved.
I had been thinking this over again and actually was already thinking it could have been the change to the spring season 'causing' this.
I just needed your location to confirm this.

If you want to have a look at al the seasons within YoWindow, then please look at this: http://site2.yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=33.
Furthermore you can click on todays date (=Open Calendar) and select a date in the future (or the past for that matter).
You won't get a forecast then of course, but you will see another season.

Hope this helps.
