Post by jmcourir »

Hi!

I don't know if this question has been answered before....

I always have the same sky weather.

Clear is always there but outside it's very cloudy.
Temperature, wind and other things are PERFECT and working accurate!

Same problem with 429 and 432.

I live at Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec I have ask to you few weeks ago to add 6354897 ; Riviere-du-Loup/Quebec/CANADA
and its always a Clear sky while outside is not the same.

Please help

Thanks

The Metar-station your location is using is CWNH which is a fully automated system.
It reports temperature, dew-point and wind only so as a default YoWindow reports "Clear" as the weather situation.

Please ask Pavel (username par) if there's another Metar-station for your location nearby which eventually reports more data than CWNH!

Edit: i had some time and looked up CWNH in Google-Maps; it's a small and nice airport:
CWNH - small airport with fully automated weather-station that generates metar-messages

Yes.
Pavel/par is one of the authors of YoWindow. He is able to set a different metar-station for a location which will be used instead of the default one.

Currently he is abroad for new-years celebrations and will be back in a couple of days (see his post)

I have excluded the station from YoWindow data-base.
This means that the sky conditioins along with the weather will be reported by another station, hopefully a reliable one.

Thanks Reinhart, the picture is wonderful :)
