The weather is not correct. I have selected my city (Montreal. Quebec, Canada), and it is currently raining. YoWindow reports 'Clear'.
- I have also tried selecting other locations close to me where it is also raining, and YoWindow still reports 'Clear'...
- I have tried updating the weather, but it did not change...
- I am using YoWindow on an iPhone 5 (iOS 8.3).
- I am using the version that was the free ''App of the Day' from May 6, 2015....
EDIT1: I tried YoWindow on a Windows PC and same problem exists, so this is not related to the platform.
EDIT2: It seems like I am getting weather info from MET Norway. Can this problem be related to retrieving weather for Canadian locations?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Weather is not correct
YoWindow is trying to get the best possible weather it can receive.
There are 2 sources of current weather information.
1. METAR stations primary installed at the airports.
2. For Android edition we also provide Weather Underground support, which will soon to be available on iOS.
When it's raining at the airport, it may not at your place.
Also there is a 20 - 40 minutes delay between the observation and the moment YoWindow displaying the weather.

Re: Weather is not correct
Thanks. I guess the problem was I chose the city name, and not the name of the closest airport. Now that I selected the airport as my location, the weather seems to be accurate.
Most weather apps I have tried provided accurate weather as long as the location was found. In this case, it was misleading that I was able to select Montreal as the location, which did not provide accurate weather. It wasn't even a problem of distance. It had been raining very hard for a few days, and that included any area within at least a 20 mile radius, but the 'Montreal' weather showed CLEAR.
Thanks for your help - I will only select airports in the future.
EDIT: Even using the airport, YoWindown's weather forecast was not as accurate as other apps. I have deleted this app from my iPhone and will use another weather app. If a weather app doesn't provide accurate weather....

Re: Weather is not correct
Thank you for the information.
I will be investigating Montreal case.
The weather forecast for Canada is provided by met.no.
The data as accurate as the service give them to the app.
In the future we are going to increase the number of supported weather providers.
