Adobe Flash Player in Windows 8.1

Post by Spuki »

I cannot run YoWindow in Windows 8.1.
It keeps on saying I need to install Adobe Flash Player.
Shockwave Flash Object is enabled and Active X filtering is disabled.
What now?

go to http://get.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/ and install the "Adobe Flash Player". YoWindow is based upon it.

It is not possible to install Flashplayer in Windows 8 or 8.1 as it is built-in.
If you try, it tells you that and you must just check the settings of Shockwave Flash Object and Active X filtering

You need to make sure that Flash Player for Internet Explorer is installed. Internet Explorer, not any other browser.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

Please read:

I also have the update for Flash Player in Windows 8.1(KB3001237) installed on my computer.
My version of Internet Explorer is 11.09.9600.17351 with the update version 11.0.13 (KB2987107).

I just downloaded and installed YoWindow version 4.0.27 and the same problem is still present. I am running Windows 8.1 with all current updates and Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.1778 (update version 11.0.18 - KB 3038314). Has anybody encountered the same problem?
