Network error

Recently downloaded the free version of Yo Window. Everything went well until I tried to enter my location. It started to load major cities then gave the message "Network error". This repeated ad nauseum. I am running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, with IE 8 and Microsoft Security Esentials. Worked fine when I was running XP Pro.
Any advice on correcting this problem would be greatly appreciated.

may be the problem is the Microsoft Security Esentials. Please close it an try again.

Problem solved........ but not sure how. :!:
Rebooted computer after a number of Windows updates and discovered that it was now working OK.
Ours not to reason why.
