- Performance improved
- FIXED: a gray bar on top of the screen displayed
viewtopic.php?f=58&t=21119#p54033

The counters at the left-bottom corner reflect the performance of YoWindow.
- FPS is the frame rate counter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frame_rate
It reflects the speed of animation - frames per seconds (FPS).
The higher FPS - the better the quality.

- Draw count - is an internal performance indicator, the lower this number, the better.
If you happen to see this number value grows over 50 - this is unacceptable - please report.

Dear friends, thank you for the reports, I don't have much time to answer them, but I read them all.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

Yowindow works fine on my Tablet great job :)

But I have some issues with the wallpaper:
After swiping to another panel the animations begin to lag pretty bad, but not all of them. For example the water animations at the beach are just fine, but ships and stars are lagging. The problem only appears after swiping. At home screen all animations are smooth.

Hi Pasha,

There is a problem with the Current Conditions!

Current Conditions (LIVE) - Mostly Cloudy, it looks like Partly Cloudy.

In the landscape of airport, sun shines through buildings!

Hi Pasha,

I haven't sent you a video recording regarding the shaky Live landscape (yet), because it looks to me you have solved the problem from version 0.33.
In general Live backgrounds are too battery consuming to my liking.
On my smartphone it even results in not being able to run it a whole day.
The YoWindow Live background in particular results in getting a slower and slower device, the longer it runs, I'm sorry.
I've had several occasions when I needed my phone, but couldn't use it because the screen had 'hung up'.

Now for 0.34:

The Sun and Moon still can get 1 pixel (?) lower then the bottom of the landscape.
This is best seen when selecting the clear sky as landscape:
Pixel aanpassen.jpg
The result is that a Sun or Moon below the horizon can be seen:
Pixel Maan.jpg
Also the Moon still reflects in the Oriental landscape water too early:
Maan in water.jpg
On occasion the landscape can turn into a 'negative' picture, where the sky turns blue.
After about half a minute it returns to normal again.
I wasn't able to capture this, but did see it once or twice.
I have the feeling it was worse on 0.33.

Overall I think the sounds still are to poor.
They sound a bit louder on my tablet (Asus MeMopad HD7, Android 4.2.2.) then on my smartphone (HTC One X, Android 4.2.2.).
On my smartphone I can hear the planes and a dog, bird or frog occassionally.
On my tablet all these are about twice as loud.
Rain can't be heard on my phone, but can be heard on my tablet.

Do you think we need a volume setting?
Also a max. volume button in the screen could be useful, for instance when demonstrating it to someone else :)

I hope this may help you finetuning before you are thinking of releasing.

Thanks for all your effort!

Hi Pasha,

This is a suggestion to fix a big problem.

Can you please remove the check mark for displaying Temperature in the Status Bar?
If we want it on, we can check mark it on.

Can you please remove some of the preset locations?

The Temperature in the Status Bar and all of the preset locations are causing my Samsung 2.3.6 to crash.
Once it starts crashing, it continually crashes.

I finally got .33 running on my Samsung.
It took a lot of effort to remove all of the preset locations.

YoWindow runs slow and has the android running slow.
I tried to turn off the check mark for the Temperature in the Status Bar.
Since YoWindow has the android running slow, I was not able to do this.

It is a lot easier for someone else to turn the things on
than it is for someone using 2.3.6 or earlier to turn the things off.

I have not been able to load .34 today because of all of the crashing.
I will try it later.

:(

Hi Pasha,

This is all about Sound!!!

You really need to give us a way to adjust the Sound on YoWindow.
What I am experiencing does not make sense at all.

Kyoceras 4.0.4 - I can hear the planes touching down in Airport.
NextBook 4.1.1 - With bad speakers, I can hear the screech of the tires on all of the planes touching down in Airport.
Lenovo 4.1.2 - With fantastic speakers, I have to put the speakers to my ear to hear the planes touching down in Airport.
Lenovo 4.1.2 - With fantastic speakers, I did hear a bird chirp 1 time in Village without putting speakers to my ear.
Samsung 2.3.6 - Last night when I had .33 working on my Samsung, I heard planes touching down in Airport.

Please give us a way to adjust the Sound!!!

Android 4.2, Android box minix neo x7.
Live wallpaper: not so smooth again. I agree with techam "After swiping to another panel the animations begin to lag pretty bad"
The memory leaks in live wallpaper is fixed.
Greek characters of cities doesn't show.
This version is better. The only problem is the live wallpaper.

Hi Pasha,

For those of us who prefer using yr.no instead of NWS,
are you going to add a selection of yr.no for us?

I prefer using yr.no.

Hi Pasha

You're doing a great job ... again ! YoWindow works without (almost) any problem on my Samsung S4 Mini !

The only problem is that the banner(s) with the days, time, temperature, wind speed, pressure, etc.
'disappear(s)' when the screen rotates / switches from vertical to horizontal position ...
(only time - in the left corner - and temp - in the right corner -
are published in horizontal position)

+ a recommendation: the temperature --- which is displayed all the time in the left-top-corner
on the home screen(s) of my Samsung S4 Mini --- is really to small to read !
It would be nice if the number of the temperature would have the
same size as the time (which is displayed at the opposite
top corner).

Best wishes from Belgium

Программа отлично работает. Багов не замечено. FPS в программе 35-45. Drow. ount 7.
