No time bar

Post by Meerkat »

For some or other reason the web widget is not showing the time bar since yesterday evening.
Even on the setup page with a size 500x400 it does not show.
Also in full screen view it's missing.

Werner, you were still seeing an old cached version of Yowindow.
If you look at your home page you seem to have the same problem. I can't see your time-bar from here either.
Try clearing your cache and see if you have the same problem please.

Edit: I've tried another computer and I have the same problem. Pavel can you confirm this as a problem please?

This seems to happen on the Yowindow Setup page as well.
As soon as the size is anything greater than 400x250 then everything disappears from the widget.

Hey, Rainer, this must have happened because one of YoWindow widget SWFs have not been loaded completely.
Clean your browser cache and reload the page.
Should work.

Unfortunately I don't know how to protect from this problem.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

Hi Pavel,
I've tried all of that already (cleared the cache).
I get the same problem on another computer.
I also tried using Firefox, Google Crome and IE but the problem stays.
I have forced a refresh and that does not help either.
I checked - I do have a crossdomain.xml in the right place.

I'm confused as to what is happening here.

Edit: Can you see my pages properly? See my signature below for the links.

I get the same on the Yowindow Setup page ... see attachment:

I have checked bashewa.com both in Firefox and IE after cleaning up the cache.
The time-bar is visible in both browsers in full-screen mode in YoWindow widget added to your page.

I'm puzzled as well :-(
And I'm also worried that there is something wrong with the widget, I wish I knew the source of the problem.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.

I get this hanging in the status bar of Firefox: "Read server2.youwindow.com" (for a long time).
It seems to time out after a while. However I can see the correct cloud and rain animation ... just not the time-bar etc.

Hi Reiner,
I'm worry about to tell you that (after cleaning the caches) in IE 8, Firefox, Opera and Safari the time bar is visibal on your site, on my site and on the widget on Yowindow :(
I can post if you like all the screenshots.
It is truely not a question of cache because I was -before I posted the first reply- never on your website and my browser clean the cache automatically when it is closed.
So anything must be wrong on your installation ... I'm sorry to have no idea :(
Werner
P:S.: Thanks for your landscape.zip. Its really beautiful :D
