Why there's fireworks on each start of YoWindow

Post by madmax25 »

This evening I had several times,
when my computer started YoWindow as the chosen screensaver (Build 145 on XP Home SP3 installed right now).
Each time, I've seen fireworks at the beginning.
Is it a bug or is it really meant to be like that?
I thought this should happen randomly only, shouldn't it?

Or is the fireworks there to show the release of a new version (sorry, I don't have the time to check this at the moment)?
EDIT:
I checked it meanwhile.
There's no later version than the one I've got already.

Fireworks happen on Friday nights anytime between sunset and one o'clock in the morning local time.

Is this something new?
I mean, I know there were fireworks added a few versions ago, but when was this changed from the random base to a regular one?

Using the search function (type in "firework") you could find this: http://he1.yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic ... ork#p24602 8)
So this function is given since RC 87 ... see the history http://he1.yowindow.com/forum/search.ph ... k&start=10

Writing just "RC87" would have been absolutely sufficient.
Instead you're pointing me to the search by typing two long phrases including two URL's?
Do you really consider this polite?

I strongly suggest to you to read this occasionally. :D

My answer to your question was no long sentences and certainly not rude! It was merely a factual answer to a question that would not have to be asked if you had used the search function.
The search function is a component of each forum, to find out quickly an answer and save time for the moderators. Obviously, it's easier to ask questions than to use this feature.

I would have expected the opposite, that you say thank you for answering your long question. That would been polite!

Nor do I believe that you need to point a moderator on the netiquette!
I think your tone is inappropriate and also the appropriate smilie is not appropriate!

Please accept that. I will not waste any more time for discussions about this with you.
