On the day of YoWindow for iPhone release we need to notify as many YoWindow users as possible.
YoWindow will help us with "Breaking News" feature.
Breaking News is a notification system informing our users of something important that happens to YoWindow.
Once a day YoWindow checks if there are any "Breaking News" on our server.
If it finds something new it can do 2 things.
1. Display a beautiful banner inside Wait Screen.
This banner will advertise YoWindow for iPhone.
The user needs to click "Skip" or "Remind me later" buttons to make the banner go away.
The banner is going to be displayed on the next launch of YoWindow unless the user has chosen "Skip".
The banner is also displayed in Screen Saver, but it does not block wait-screen.
It just beeing shown for a couple of seconds.
Like an advertising.
2. Add a link to the bottom-left corner of YoWindow
A user can remove the link from the latest Breaking News by clicking a small button.
Breaking News will help us notify our users about iPad and Android releases as well.
Also it is probably be of use for promo activities.
And also for informing about bad things like weather outage.
