b114 - Cannot hear the sounds of village

What am I missing? I read the posts about sounds. What sounds? I hear nothing. Is there a setting?

Hi Larry,

Welcome to YoWindow.

Go up to the Menu.
Click on Program.
Click on Options.
Click on Sound.
Check mark Enable Sound.
You can also adjust your Volume.

Let us know how you like the sounds.

Thanks Marty but I have been up and down the options menu many many times and there is not sound box to check. I am a registered user and I have the latest version. If the selection is there it should be so obvious I could not miss it BUT I am. Any ideas why? Thanks again.

Are you sure you are running the latest RC b114 and not the official release..?

Looks to me you're running the official release since you don't have the option to turn on/ff sound...

Thanks Wally, your are right. I had not changed to the RC b114. Seems to be a few bugs so I re-installed released version. On the RC b114 fireworks are really loud but rest of sounds are hardly audible.
