Guys, we have decided to add an ad banner at the top of the forum.
What do you think?
Don't you mind?

Re: Ads on the forum
I'm honest and admit: i don't like the ads.
But on the other hand i don't have to earn money with YoWindow.
So from your point of view i do understand your decision - so: Yes i don't mind.
And (at least at home) i can use Firefox, Greasemonkey and some other Add-ons and so i'm able to help myself.

I'm with Ikarus.
And I also understand the 'need' to use ad's.
You couldn't put them at the bottom though, could you?
(Just kidding)!

Hi Pavel,
it is okay, do as you like it - there are a lot of reasons to do so!
On this tiny planet called earth, there is nothing which is really free of charge at the end.
There is more than one reason in terms of the daily costs in such a project ..... I am sure
have a nice day
Uli

Re: Ads on the forum
Thank you, friends!
We will run the ads for a week.
And in case they won't give any significant profit I will let them go.
Of course we need money for the project and for ourselves.
As you may know I work fulltime on YoWindow without a salary for 4 years.
Vielen Dank, Werner!

Re: Ads on the forum
Pasha,
If you decide to keep the Ads, is it possible to move the Fresh RC Link down away from the Ads?
When you have not had your morning coffee or tea to awake your eyes, it is possible to click on the Ad instead of the RC Link.
Thank you in advance.
Marty

Hi Pavel
No problem with the ads.
As long the banner not filled half the screen , as with newspapers. Money is necessary to keep living
