Sine wave in information bar?

Post by virginiajim »

When my cursor touches the information bar at the top of the page where the time, etc. are displayed, a ghost wave or hump or sine wave appears that looks like a representation of tidal information. What exactly is it? When I wrote this it extended from 6AM to 6PM (12 hrs) and peaked at 12 noon. It doesn't move when the days are changed, so probably not tidal info. However, that might be a nice addition for folks in coastal areas. Meanwhile I'd still like to know if it has a purpose. Thanks.

Hi VirginiaJim (or is just Jim?),

What you are seeing is known as a Daylight Diagram. You can select it to stay on. Go into Options > View > Click on Show Daylight Diagram.

In the Northern Hemisphere - After December 21st, you will start seeing it getting wider. After June 21st, it will start getting smaller.

Just one of the features of YoWindow that we all enjoy. :)
