My provider here in Germany is t-mobile.

It is only 5° Celsius here in Germany and we have 92% rel humidity with 2 bft wind and the sky is overcast.

Here's something to add to the confusion. My neighbor across the street from me is seeing Takoradi on his computer while I correctly get Roseville on mine. We use the same service provider (SureWest), and even have identical DSL modems for what it's worth. :?

The problem with Takoradi is not in YoWindow. The IP Locator service that is being used by YoWindow is where the problem is. When Pasha gets back from his much deserved vacation, he will be able to get in touch with the IP Locator service and get the Widget functioning 100% again.

We just need to be patient for a few more days.

Friends, you are absolutely right.
On 15th of November our IP-to-location provider "ipinfodb.com" has disabled the old API we were using.
They were expecting that all the clients have already switched to a new API.

I did not know about the change and was also surprised to see Takoradi instead of Hurgada when I was on vacation.
Murphy law in action, IP location detection was broken on the second day of my vacation.
There is no sense to blame ipinfodb since they give us the wonderful service for free and they have made the transition to a new API as smooth as possible.

Today I have changed our software to work with the new ipinfodb API.
That means the location must be detected nicely, the way it used to before Nov 15.

PS, in case you are wondering what's so special about Takoradi, Ghana.
Takoradi was selected because it is the closest YoWindow location to a point of lat = 0, lon = 0.
This point is returned by an old API now.
