I have the same Alarm Clock screen as Marty:

On my HTC One M8S phone everything looks okay:

First letters of days only.

On my Asus tablet ME173X it doesn't:

Full days mentioned.

Also there's no longer a line to enter a wake-up message.
Finally: Should we have the countdown option now?
If so at which date should it start?

Wake up message is not supported yet. And have not been so far.
I wasn't sure if many users will need it.
Let's see the response.

The countdown was visible during the winter holidays testing time.
As far as I remember it should pop up in 7 days before the Christmas.
Since we have tested it successfully, I hope it will be ok.

Hi Pasha,

It's not that I have been using it, but it was present in the first version.
Apart from seeing a message when hearing the alarm it could be handy to keep multiple alarms recognizable.
