Un-Check I want to have fun Program>Options Menu>Advanced

In the Program>Options Menu>Advanced, I
un-checked "I want to have fun" because there
was a soccer ball showing up in the lower-
left side of the monitor. Clicking on the soccer
ball took me to a website which is something I
do NOT want.

HOWEVER. Since I un-checked the "I want to have
fun" I now have the YoWIndow Logo and the words
YoWindow in a white transparent rectangle in the
lower left side of the monitor where the soccer ball
was.

I am using a paid version 4 of YoWindow on a
Windows 7 Pro OS.

How do I get rid of the logo
in the lower-left side of the monitor? It is distracting.

NOTE: The check box for "Show small YouWindow
logo" is also un-checked along with the "I want to have fun"
checkbox. So I don't understand WHY the logo would show
up. Perhaps it is a bug?

Hi Rick,

I'm not sure where this comes from.

Here you see what I see:

The upper picture is for both 'I want to have fun' and 'Show small YoWindow logo' un-checked.
The lower is for both options checked.
Checking / un-checking the "I want to have fun' option doesn't change the YoWindow logo for me.

Can you please try to quit the program (Ctrl-Q) and clear your browser cache?
If that doesn't help you could try to uninstall / re-install the program.

Hi Fred,

I did as you suggested and even un-installed
and re-installed. I also deleted entries in the
Registry to make sure I had a clean un-install.

NOTE: I use Revo Un-installer to un-install
programs which does a good job but I also
always check the Registry for leftovers - and
I did find a leftover for YoWindow which I deleted.

After re-install the Logo did not show up - BUT
when I start adding cities - all of a sudden the
Logo showed up again. See my screen shot.

I'm not against the logo - I just want a clean
screen with no extra clutter. I love YoWIndow,
it's a great little program and pretty darn accurate!

Not sure what to do now to get the logo to go away ...

Hi Rick,

You can not get rid of the logo.
The 'best' you can do is make it small.

You don't say anything about the soccer ball.
Has that disappeared now?

Fred,

The soccer ball disappeared as soon as I
un-checked the "I want to have fun" box
so it is no longer there.

As for making the logo smaller -
AHHHHHHHHHH - when I checked
the "make the Logo Smaller" box it
disappeared completely!
