Icon Badge

Very beautiful app. Nice work.
Only thing missing from this weather app is a badged icon telling you the current temperature. (this should be standard by now) with all weather apps.
Check out "Temperature Now" to see the feature in action.

You just have to add that. Of course if you do that you will just have to add a Push type update interval. Like every 5 minutes, 15, 30, hour, manually when open app.
Otherwise perfect.
Make the badge happen get 5 stars from me.

Thanks for letting us know that this feature is important.
We were reluctant in implementing it since there could be a confusion with negative temperatures. As far as I know it is impossible to display negative number on the badge.
Am I right?

That is a good question.
Not sure what Temperature Now will do because it is location based.
But I did test this out with "Best Weather" app which also show's icon badge.
It does not show any badge if the temperature is 0 or below.
Know that you could post that in your app description.
People will complain less if they know up front the limitations set by Apple. (of course they will complain because they have nothing better to do)

Maybe with the new iOS7 which I am currently testing Beta 3, (your app works flawlessly on) with the new icon imaging (download overlay pie filling in, apple may allow some overlay's by dev's for their apps.
Like a active Weather icon, displaying current temp and icon image of current conditions. Like weather icon in the cydia store.
We will see.

I know an other WeatherApp (eWeather HD), where temperatures below 0 are displayed like "3..0" (for "-3"). May be this is an option for you to realize the Icon badge. (The other available option in eWeather HD is the display of negative temperaturs like positives.)

Yes, I'm looking forward for utilizing live icon in iOS 7.
So far have no idea if this feature will be available to developers or just Apple.
Nokto, great to know YoWindow is doing fine on 7.
I'm short on time but I hope to make the app up to date with possibilities of new iOS
