USA Daylight Savings Time, time didn't change

Post by nfarrell22 »

My Time Zone is Pacific Standard, changed to Pacific Daylight Time on March 9, 2014. The time displayed is one hour too early.
i checked my conputer's date/time and it is correct. Is there a way for me to change to the correct time?

Hi Nancy,

Welcome to YoWindow.

Make sure you have your computer set as the following.
(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)

Are you closing YoWindow with a Ctrl+Q?
Have you cleared your Internet Cache?

Let us know if this helps you.

Yes, my computer is set to UTC -8, Pacific Time. No, I don't close YoWindow with Ctrl-Q. Should I? Yes, I cleared my internet cache.

Yes, the time display is still one hour behind.

Hi Nancy,

This is from the FAQ page.

If a daylight time change occurs while YoWindow is running, YoWindow is not able to detect it. YoWindow will keep displaying the wrong time until you restart it.
To restart YoWindow go to main-menu/Program/Exit. And then launch YoWindow again.

You have to exit YoWindow from the main-menu/Program/Exit or use a Ctrl+Q. They are the same.

Let us know if this helps you.
