Because you asked for text-layout-issues: the max.- and min-temperatures are aligned slightly different.
Max.temp is a few pixel more left than the min.-temperature:

Ahh, that's an "expected behavior", I was afraid of major problems when text is overlapped.
In this case the numbers are layed out by the right border, as far as I remember, that is why they positioned slightly different.

Screensaver, however, only shows black and white.

Oops, check it again,please.  Screensaver shows as
small window in upper left corner over Dos window
saying something about load error ; no jsstats
(can't really tell, as scr partially covers Dos window).
