Hi Pavel,
when i am in a minimalist mood i want to display (very) few parameters on YoWindow.
For example sometimes i only want to see only temperature and maybe the description in the inspector.
When i do this the inspectors height only is reduced to a certain minimum-height.
Could this be changed so inspectors height adapts itself to the height really needed?
And if no data is selected for the inspector in the options the inspector is hided completely as if "2" is pressed from the menu?

Re: Inspector-height when displaying few parameters
I think a nice way to handle this is to provide an alternative "views" for the Inspector.
LIke "Full", "Temperature", "Mini"
This is to let the user easily switch between them depending on the mood
And the good thing about this solution is that the user does not need to tick the Inspector checkmarks back when she want full view again.
What do you think?

That's a good idea - i like it! - but who defines what''s included in "Full", "Mini", etc...?par wrote:I think a nice way to handle this is to provide an alternative "views" for the Inspector.

I vote for the user to define it.

Yeah, very nice.
I like Werner proposal.
However it would be perfect if we could give a user to fine-tune each Inspector view.

I know this would be a little more complicated, but could some of the information be location specific?
When you are looking at your Home Location, you want to know as much information as possible. When you are looking at a location that is 2 or 3 hours away, you may only want to know temperature, sky conditions, and wind.
Also when I am looking at a location in Europe, I would like to know the Metric conditions without changing from USA conditions for my Home Location.

Aahh
Marty, that's way too much.
Looks like YoWindow 10.0 requirements.
Of course we can make it, but there are so much other very important tasks ahead...

Hi guys,
in my opinion we are talking here about a very personal "finetuning" and we should not "wake up sleeping dogs"
For a little bit experienced user it is very easy and quick to modify the stylesheet.xml to their personal view.
I did it in this way:
The only negativ is you have to copy the changed .xml into the programm after each new release.
Personaly I was and be happy with the existing solution.
