Cannot advance weather

Hello,

I have the latest version, and for some reason, it is not possible to advance the weather.
I can slide the slider, and it slides along properly as far as I like.
But nothing changes.
but the sky never changes from night to day, nor does the any visible portion of the screen changes besides the slider-bar details.

It does keep up when functioning on its own...night/day, etc.
But no slider action...no looking forward....

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I simply re-installed 3s and it works fine.
