yowindow needs IE to update?

For the last few days i havent been able to update yowindow and put it down to server.I use firefox and didnt seem to have any networking problems or problems with firewall.However after updating malwarebytes today i noticed that on the more tools screen there were red xs where i presumed a pic should be.I clicked the red x which then proceeded to open internet explorer browser.The browser could not connect ,even though all settings seemed to be fine.I then reset internet explorer from advanced tab>internet settings and immediatley the red xs in malwarebytes were gone and replaced with a picture and also yowindow was able to update.I did nt realize yo window needed a working IE to update ,and posted this for anyone else that may find it useful for troubleshooting.This "bug"? is reproducable.
