Hi,
I've reported similar problems earlier.
It looks like a few update (and/or cache) errors can appear every now and then on laptops when waking up from sleepmode.
Mind you I am a laptop user as well and I don't know how YoWindow reacts on a desktop.
Up 'till now, all my issues were solved after restarting either the application or the laptop (Windows).
Hope this may be of help.
Kind Regards,
Fred

Re: Temperature in the system tray is missing
Hey Fred!
I will try to find out why YoWindow fails to update temperature in the system tray on wake up.
I program YoWindow on laptop also.
However, ironically I don't run YoWin in the system tray, because it conflicts with development process
Thanks!

Where have you installed YoWindow to?
If it is in the network path, that might be the cause.

Re: Temperature in the system tray is missing
i installed it same as always i dont follow what you mean about network path? i have it on my other laptop and desktop both with 7 ultimate and those are ok. it just does it on this new laptop i bought that has 7 home premium on it. let me know any suggestions im willing to try them. the strange thing is i ran ccleaner and at one point was working till i rebooted and again it is back to program icon. tired in compatibility mode of xp and vista same thing. os is brand new no bloat ware . took it out the box yesterday for the first time. hopefully can figure this out par i love this program.its become a part of every day life.

Re: Temperature in the system tray is missing
Sounds confusing to me, sorry have no idea.
YoWindow may fail to save the data because it is not allowed to save the data by security system (antivirus or Windows)
But this is very unlikely.
You may try the following.
1. Launch YoWindow
2. Add all the locations you need and setup the options the way you like.
3. Exit YoWindow - this must be done right - click main-menu/Program/Exit, do NOT click [x] button in the top-left corner, it will only minimize YoWindow without exiting.
4. Go to this directory
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\YoWindow
replace [your user name] with your Windows login (user) name
Find log.txt file
And send me this file to support@repkasoft.com
It will probably give me a hint of what is wrong with YoWindow on your system.

Re: Temperature in the system tray is missing
Hello,
I also miss the system tray icon. I use Windows 7.
On my other computer (windows XP) the system tray works fine.
I used the latest build. Build 329.
But also with the previous build the system tray icon didn't show up in windows 7.
with regards,
Flip

Hey, Flip!
The system tray icon must have been hidden on Win 7.
Try to display it back in Windows tray icon properties.
