Retrieving weather info is terrible

essentially you are right ... very often I have the same problem. I tried out your site today 1.10.2012 at 01:15 (local time) and the widget was load less than 2 seconds

Looks like I need to add one more server.

Flash widget and the weather are loaded from different servers.
Do you experience the problem with weather loading or widget content loading or both?

Let's wait for one more week.
If the widget is still slow I will order a new server.

I'm sorry to say that we have still this problem and it is sometimes a serious problem
As reported it is mostly a question of the daytime or the weekly period, but not acceptable to wait one minute or more to load the widget.
Very often the only way is to load my own site is to refresh, then it will be fully loaded. No visitor of my site has the patience to wait such a long time!

I have noticed the speed seems to be dependent on the time of day and the day. I just loaded my web page and the widget displayed in 3 seconds. I am in the Eastern US Time Zone and between 6:00am & 6:00pm the response time is very slow. This is not good for my website users.
Hopefully a new server will be deployed within the next several weeks.

On Friday I have redirected a part of widget-server traffic to another server.
I've been watching the servers over the weekend and it looks like the situation is normalized.
The widget is opened fast and reliable.
