Independency from DST settings

Hi,
some computers don't use daylight saving time. In summer time, they just set time manually one hour plus. Since I can't change this, it would be nice if YoWindow could detect the correct time independently of the DST settings, because on these computers (Win XP) YoWindow adds 1 hour by itself (which is wrong). That would be great!

welcome to our forum.
Yowindow has no "own time" ... it is allways showing the computer time. You can set on all computers if you prefer DST or not.

thanks for your reply. I'm using a computer which has DST set off for sake of another program. YoWindow adds 1 h by itself. If I switch on DST, YoWindow shows the correct time. I tried with Hamburg, Munich and Berlin.

Hi Volker,
Yowindow is setting allways the right time of the location you use, so it doesn't matter of Berlin, Munich or other German locations ... the time zone is allways the same. Where is your serious problem?

Please give me all the information YoWindow receives on input, I will try to reproduce this problem in my YoWindow and hopefully to find a solution.
