Parvel.
Im sending this photo of the village landscape with a different weather display.
Its called HTC Home http://www.htchome.org/en/ this is the web site, it’s a open source app.
It would be great if you can incorporate this type of display into YoWindow, instead of all the time line ,forcast, displays ect. this is very compact and nice. You have a great app. I loved it when I first seen it. Keep up the great work.

New Weather display for YoWindow
Re: New Weather display for YoWindow
That looks nice, but it's a bit too in your face. Then again, I think even the weather and forecast displays already built-in could stand to be more subtle, and less distracting (and obscuring) from the background display.

Thanks for submitting this request Ted!
Our product vision goes along with Terry (Tarkus).
The idea was to make the information panels as subtle as we could.
To avoid mixing landscape colors and the colors of the user interface.
If we had more time we would do some skins for panels, but now it is very hard to do.

How about transparency adjustment for the panels? They'd look a lot more subtle if they weren't so opaque.

If to make panels more transparent it would be hard to read the information on them under certain conditions.
Current transparency level is a compromise between beauty and readability.

Re: New Weather display for YoWindow
I was asking for a user control adjustment, not more transparency hardcoded into the program.

Yes, probably we will add transparency level control, but it would not really solve the problem. Most users will have a hard time adjusting transparency to the optimal position.

My opinion: it is currently the best solution! Please not more complicated.

Not sure how adding a control would make it more complicated. You don't have to use it, if you're happy with the default.
Thanks for your consideration, par.
