I will try to ansver as good as I can with my bad English.

My stormchasing can't be compared with Discovery's at all!
I mostly follow storms on the internet, watch from my windows at home or drive a few miles to get better sight, take poto's or film..
I have small children and that limits my possibilities to chase.

Very briefly:
LI the lifted index indicates air instability
Cape measures it

Dewpoint above +10 degrees means a higher risk for thunderstorms.

Well... Don't bother.. Guess I'm the only stormfanatic here anyway.

I don't have too many photo's yet. My stormchasing is very modest because of my limitation due to familylife.
I started trying to catch lightning on photo last summer and only got one picture with one really fat lightning on it.
Sadly enough summer is quite short here up north and there were'nt many thunderstorms last year.

It's very hard to catch lightning during daytime. Only way is to burst with the camera and hope that something sticks.. There was only one nightly storm and by that time i had not learned how to use my camrea right. I use a compact digital camera wich limits my possibilities to catch lightning even more. Just bought an SLR and time is running out for me to learn all the features of it before thunderseason starts.
You could say I'm a beginner at photographing, but I have always watched and followed thunderstorms, have always beed interested and fascinated by theese mighty powers of nature. A mix of fear and love.
