b70 - twitter after publishing window doesn't close

Post by ikarus1969 »

Hi Pavel!

After publishing a message on twitter - i get the "Published!" message - the windows doesn't change automatically.

With "windows" i mean: the broadcast window (with Close and Share button and the window with the facebook-button the twitter-button and the Cancel-button.

ok. :)

In the menu-bar i click on broadcast and the again on broadcast (or press SPACE). Then in the "Broadcast"-dialog (let's name this dialog "Window #1") i press on the Twitter-button.
The following window (let's name this "Window #2") i enter my message, press "Share" - after a short time i get the "Published!" -message in a small dialog.
After confirming with "OK" i am back on "Window #2" and have to close this manually by pressing "Close" and then close the "Window #1" again by "ESC" or "Cancel"-button manually.

Is it possible to - after successfully publishing a tweet - to close "Window #2" and "Window #1" automatically to have YoWindow active again?

Now I understand :)

We need to think about it.
There is something that makes me think that closing the windows can be a bad move.

1. If you want to publish the same capture to Twitter and Facebook both, you will certainly do not want to go back to YoWindow and loose the capture until you publish to both.
So it makes sense to leave Window #1 open.
You can publish to Facebook or Twitter directly if you do not want to mess with Window #1.

2. It seems to me we need to inform the user that publishing was successful.
So it looks like "Published!" window is still required.
At least it is in all software I tried.
But I'm not sure.

3. Now I think it is reasonable to close Window #2 after publishing, but we need to think it over with Yura.
Get YoWindow weather app for your phone or tablet.
