Re: Different weather forecast from YoWindow and webpage
Hey, Emyl!
YoWindow and yr.no use different day temperature presentation.
On yr.no I think they display the temperature at 12:00 local time or they probably display an average or maximum temperature.
But YoWindow displays day temperature for 15:00
That's the reason for the difference.
Do you still think it is an error?

On yr.no they display temperature for the time range 13.00-19.00 (soon 14.00 - 20.00 because of the time change, I think). Simply I wanted to know why there is this difference.
Thank you.
Emil
Thank you.

I think it would be more representative to present max temperature from range 14.00 - 20.00. In this time is much more probable that maximum temperature will occur. Not only at 15.00.

Hey!
I agree with you.
However, there is a problem.
When the user clicks the day tile in the Forecast Panel she expects to see the weather on that day.
But wait, at what time she is going to see the weather?
We have decided it is going to be 15:00
And that is why we display temperature that is exactly at 15:00 to avoid confusion.
If we to display maximum temperature on the tile, the users would ask why the temp on the tile is different from temp in the Inspector.
I have explained this so many times, I think we need to add this answer to FAQ.

The Inspector shows temperature for today and forecast for next days. It is different information.
