Greetings,
I have a paid version of YoWindow.
On Friday, 29 July, after receiving notification of a new version, I downloaded and attempted to install.
I saved the file on Drive C:. I clicked on the file and it began with the window with a progressive bar. It showed progress about 3/4 of the way and then stopped.
After the second time, I used Add/Remove programs to uninstall. I went into Program Files and removed the YoWindow folder. I went into Documents and Settings and removed the folder. I rebooted my computer.
I attempted another install and got the same results, about 3/4 progress and stopped.
I tried once more (4th time) with same results.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It seems to me that the yosetup.exe file was corrupted on the first download attempt.
And every next time you tried to download it, it was fetched from the browser cache.
Possible ways to solve this.
1. Clean browser cache and try to download YoWindow again.
2. Download YoWindow with another browser.
3. Download YoWindow from download.com

Let me know if this helps.
And every next time you tried to download it, it was fetched from the browser cache.

I followed your instructions.
I cleared the cache. Then I used Chrome instead of Firefox, but cleared the cache in Chrome as well.
I downloaded from download.com, ran install (yosetup.exe).
It proceeded to about 98% and stopped. I thought it was going to finish, but after 10 minutes, it was still there.
I used Task Manager to stop the program which was not responding.
I attempted again. The progress bar never came up.
I attempted the third time. The progress bar never came up.
I attempted the fourth time. The progress bar never came up.
I give up.
I just got a new computer with Windows 7. I am going to wait until I get that computer setup, then will attempt the install again. The only problem is, I have no idea where I put the activation key for yowindow.
If you want me to try something else in the old computer, let me know. I am not disposing of the old computer. It will be on the network at another location.

I would like a different download location. Seems like a lot of what I download from cnet or download.com contains a virus. I have quit using them.

This thing also happened to me. I can't continue to install when it comes to 98%. If there is someone out there that knows the reason please tell it up.
