Airport details

Post by FvE »

Hi Pasha,

If possible I think it would be right to let the highest points at the airport have beacons.
I think Werner had already mentioned something like this before: http://site2.yowindow.com/forum/viewtop ... 937#p10621

Furthermore I think some cars at the fligh-over drive at an extremely high speed.
Unless of course these are salvation vehicles (ambulance, police, firebrigade). Then they need beacons as well.
It's probably easier to have their speed reduced, right? :)

Hi Pasha,

I agree with the comments made by Fred. The towers do need to have flashing beacons.

I would like to add one more detail. During the daylight hours, I am not able to see any traffic on the road. I enjoy watching the traffic at night and wish I could watch the traffic during the day. The lights on most new cars in the USA turn on when the car is started and stay on until the car is turned off.

I hope my suggestion is not a problem.

Thanks,

Marty

Thanks Fred, we will discuss both features with Yura and most likely adjust the landscape.
But these changes will be applied after the upcoming release.

Thank you Pasha, for listening to the wishes of us users.
Thank you Yura, for realising these wishes.
Thank you Marty, for suggesting to make the cars on the highway visible during daylight, I like it very much.

I personally think the airport landcape has significantly improved over the last RC's

Thanks again to all!

Hi Pasha
Beside of forum friends' suggestions I have some observations and so:
1.Little jerks of the planes while taking off and landing
2.Use the way leading to the screen front e.g. plane taxing to service
3.I have an impression that all the landscapes are lttle pale in colors
Finally, suggestion already was several months ago, now reminder and special ask to you once again to develop the sound effects so especially needed here in the Airport. If you do this I will not be bothering you more

1. I've spent several days trying to make planes movement smooth. I consider this the major problem of the Airport. I wish I could solve it.

2. No way in 2D software.

3. Really?

4. I wish we cuold have time to add sounds to YoWindow, please wait.
I don't know when this feature comes true.

When it moves slowly the jerking is more evident, though this quite subjective.
