Wenatchee, WA reverted back to winter and 0 degrees :-)

Hi. When my co-worker and I signed on to our computers today, our weather (Wenatchee, WA) is showing 0 degrees, and her village scene is showing winter with a snowman I have the airport scene on mine and the ground looks like it could have snow on it, too. It may be a temporary glitch for Wenatchee, but I thought I would check in.

Hi!

the METAR-Station that is used for your location is KEAT (Pangborn Memorial Airport) and submits -18 degrees celsius as the temperature (about -0.4 Fahrenheit) so snow is displayed no matter what the season is:

Now, a few minutes later, the METAR-station submits plus 17 degrees celsius (~ 62.6 Fahrenheit) and in the landscape there's no snow at all:

Thank you so much for checking, and for your reply. I'm glad it wasn't the program, but just a temporary glitch with the METAR info. I wouldn't have known how to check that info, so I thank you for doing it for me! It's working nicely now! Thanks again!!

Checking that is not difficult: from the menu-bar choose "Location", then "Location properties" and in the following window click on the "www"-link to get the metar-site to open in your default-browser:

Then - for the temperature - have a look at the data i marked in my previous posts.
