thunderstorms

We've had many thunderstorms in Charlotte, North Carolina, since we moved hear earlier this summer. YoWindow shows rain only when thunderstorms are predicted. I see from another post that thunder is a weather option that can be displayed, but I haven't yet seen it.
In an area were there are thunderstorms, severe thunderstorms, hailstorms, ice storms, and other severe weather events where a NWS advisory is posted, it would be nice to see them in the anticipated weather and very helpful to have events that generate weather advisories depicted.
If you're using YoWindow to judge whether to go out, there's a difference between 'showers' and 'severe thunderstorm warning with quarter-sized hail or three inches of rain in an hour, flash flood warning, and continuous lightning'.
