Wrong temperature for Al Hilla, Iraq

Hello there
The temperature of Al Hilla city in Iraq is wrong! It's about 100Km to the south of Baghdad, and the temperature is so similar to Baghdad, now I'm checking the temperature of Baghdad is +39 while Al Hilla's temperature is +13!!!
If the temperature source is yo.nr as it mentioned in the widget, then there's something wrong because Al Hilla temperature in yo.nr is correct.
Thank you a lot

Hi Ahmed,
Welcome to YoWindow.
Yr.no does not give the temperature and current conditions. Yr.no supplies YoWindow with the forecast. The current weather conditions come from the closest METAR station.
The METAR station that YoWindow is using is KQAE. I am having the same problem with this station. It is showing 55 degrees fahrenheit when it should be 90 degrees fahrenheit. I am trying to track down the METAR archives on the station to see what the problem is. I would like you to do the following.
Go up to Menu Bar and click on 'Location'. Then click on 'Properties'. Go down to the METAR code and replace KQAE with KQTZ. Then click OK. You may have to press F5.
Let us know how this works out for you.
Thank you for reporting this problem.
Marty

Hi Ahmed,
This is a page showing the parameters that can be used with your widget.
http://yowindow.com/widget_parameters.php
One of the parameters lets you assign what METAR station you want to use. See the parameter that refers to the icao code.
current_weather_icao
Force METAR station for the current weather Value is METAR station ICAO code
Example: current_weather_icao=ULLI
If you want to see an example of how to put this parameter into your code, view the source of this html from my World Weather.

Let us know if this has helped you out.
