Ever since I downloaded the new Yo weather 3 I have to re-download it every few days ....I went to check the weather for tomorrow and as it is dark now when I went to tomorrows weather it is still dark all day and it get's stuck on "Updating Weather" and the only way I can correct it is to re-download it.This has only happened with the new yo weather 3 version. Can someone please help me.

Hi Janis,

I don't know why this is happening, but it might be worth to try the following:

1. - Uninstall YoWindow 3
2. - Check if there is anything left of YoWindow, eg: version 2 or version 3 Beta. If so remove all of it.
3. - Disable your Antivirus program and Firewall
4. - Re-install YoWindow 3
5. - Check if it is functioning properly
6. - Enable your Antivirus program and Firewall again

Hi Janis,

Are you having this problem with every location or just a few locations?
What are the locations that you are having a problem with? I would like to test them on my PC.

I have done what you said and will see whether this rectifies the problem as it is happening every 3-4 days

In the meantime I have done what Fred suggested and will soon know in 3-4 days whether that solution worked.

Just a suggestion should things stay the same...

I don't know what firewall you use but it sounds to me that YoWindow is not properly connecting

to the internet...

I would check my firewall settings for YoWindow...

They should be set to 'always allow'...or something to that effect...

I have just checked and Yo Window is allowed on my firewall Wally.
I went back to check the weather this evening and everything has reverted back to when I downloaded it again the other day, with the weather for New York, Cairo and Japan, so I have set it up the way I want in Options again and put back on the list the Places I want the weather for and will give it another 3-4 days to see if it remains the same.
I am not sure what else I can do to make it remain the way I want it to....On the upside at least I didn't have to re-download it again this time

These messages have nothing to do with the problem.
At the moment they are printed in every copy of YoWindow.

I think there's no better way to solve this than Fred has proposed.

Thank you Par, I have done what Fred said and I am still having major problems ...Yesterday my weather reset itself to default locations so I put my locations back in and applied and this is what I woke up to
