I have downloaded the yowindow 3 and do not like it as well as the previous version. Hpw do I retrieve the version 2?

Version 2 is no longer being developed and therefore no longer supported.

The version 3 I downloaded does not show the real time weather as did version 2. i.e. it is now raining hard and is not showing it on yowindows screen

What is the location that you are having a problem with?

YoWindow 2 and YoWindow 3 would be showing the same weather as your current conditions are coming from the METAR station.
I would like to see what your METAR station is reporting.

Hi Jeanne,

Since Algoma, Wisconsin is not in the YoWindow database right now, what location are you using? I am sure that you know that you can request Algoma to be added to the database. Please make a request in the Add Locations sub forum.

I looked up Sturgeon Bay and they were overcast all day with very little rain. Right now, I do not know what location you are using so I took a guess and looked up Sturgeon Bay.

Please let me know the location you are using. Thank you in advance.

I also like the previous version as it showed the astronomy page and the new version does not. I really like knowing the moon phase and the length of the daylight hours. Please bring back. Thanks Mistibreeze

Of course the V3 show this data! You only have to activate it ...
And about your other "problem" please answer the question of Marty.

on my version 3 (english) the inspecter element is not even there so therefor I am unable to activate it.
