Hi!

I would like to disable the balloon tip, which always appears when I close YoWindow (3.0 Build 61) "minimized" to tray.

So, I would be very pleased about such an option.

Does the tooltip disappear over 2 seconds in your Windows version?

1-2 seconds for me and it's the shortest time of any of the various tips in the programs that I use. No bother for me.

Yep, it disappears after a short time.

But I think there's no much sense in seeing this info several times a day... for me this is rather irritating, so at this time I still use Build 50.

In my case it doesn't disappear.

Do you think it is useful information that the window was minimized ?

Beside an extra option for disabling the balloon tip...

What about a balloon tip
+ which has to be closed manually
+ with a message like this: "YoWindow is closed to tray. To restore YoWindow please click on temperature in system tray".
+ which is permanently disabled after closing it

The advantages would be
+ new users learn that YoWindow is closed to tray
+ no problems with balloon tips which doesn't disappear automatically
+ an extra option for disabling this balloon tip would be superfluous

Emil, which Windows version and which YoWindow version and build are you running?
This is not what I would expect from YoWindow.

Cloud, I like your proposal.
However, this solution does not help the user to find out that YoWindow can indicate temperature in the tray new clock.
I have described why we made this feature the way it is in the following post.

I am using Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3.

YoWwindow version is 3 Build 61.

I am opening YoWindow every 30 minutes so you can imagine is quite tiring closing this window every time.

So maybe you should try build 72.
