When I upgraded to YoWindow 3, the night forecast stopped showing. For example, it is Friday night at 8:04 PM my local time. YoWindow 2.0 would show the forecast for tonight with tonight's low temp etc showing in the first position. Now, using YoWindow 3.0, it is showing Saturday's forecast in the first position. I work outside a lot and it was very useful to me to know at a glance how cold it was going to be so I could know how to dress, I know I can click on Saturday at 6 AM or sunrise to see what the temp and conditions (rain/snow) should be but it was just easier and quicker when the nightly forecast was in the first position instead of the next day's high.

Re: What happened to the night forecasts?
Hey!
There are some features we have dropped in YoWindow 3.0
The complete list of dropped features is available in this post
http://he1.yowindow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4453
There was a reason behind each decision.
One of them is that we decided to remove Today/Tonight tile in the Forecast Panel.
The reason - now we have the whole day temperature displayed in the Time Bar.
You will find the details with screen-shots in this post

However I do understand that Tonight tile was useful for some people including you.
But now if we to display it, the user may confuse Tonight with Tomorrow day weather.
